Autodesk President and CEO Carl Bass has stepped down from his role but will remain as a special advisor to support the transition to a new CEO.
Bass has held the role of CEO at Autodesk for over 10 years. He has been with the company for over 24 years and has worked as CTO and COO in this time.
He will remain on the board of directors and has temporarily been replaced at the helm by co-CEOs Amar Hanspal and Andrew Anagnost.

"It's been my honor to lead Autodesk through this exciting period of growth and change," said Bass. "I'm very proud of everything we accomplished - from both a business and technology perspective.
"I'm looking forward to my next adventure but will continue working with the company through my role as a board member and am committed to ensuring that the cloud and subscription business model will continue to be successful."
