China-based publisher Hero __game has wrapped up its Hero World Championship 2 event held in Shenzhen in China.

The tournament, which orangisers claim is the largest mobile eSports event in Asia, saw 28 teams from 15 different countries compete against each other in games like Crisis Action, Bomb Man and King Warship.

Over 2,000 people attended the live event in person, and it accumulated over five million views through live streaming.

The Huawei sponsored tournament offers players huge cash prizes, though Hero Game did not specify how much the prizes were worth. It will continue running tournaments through 2017.

Raising money

Hero Game also announced that Sequoia Capital, Angel Capital and Huyai Brothers had invested in the company, though it did not state how much it had raised from this investment.

Most recently, Hero Game sold a 20% stake in its company for $288 million to Chinese entertainment company Huyai Brothers, prior the latest investment round.
