Take me out to the Baal game: Slitherine reveals demonic iPad wargame Hell

Literally Pegasus Bridge.

Literally Pegasus Bridge.

I was just marvelling the other day at the flexibility of Slitherine’s Battle Academy engine when I did that preview of Pike & Shot, and now the wargaming house has decided to show us another trick. The pithily-titled Hell (or Heck, as it may need to be rechristened to pass App Store approvals) is another Battle Academy-powered game, but this one is a fantasy title where you battle against the demonic armies of Down There.

As with the rest of Slitherine’s 2014 slate (Space Program Manager, Battle Academy 2, etc), Hell will come out for PC first and then iPad afterwards. It might well be out for PC before Christmas as Slitherine say it’s going into beta forthwith.

Three more screenshots after the jump.

No hedgerows in Hell? I doubt that.

You just killed a dog. Who's the demon now, sir?

Squint and you'll see some Warg Cavalry on the right.
